Bradenham is a small rural village positioned in the middle of Norfolk. Despite its size, the village has a vibrant Village Hall by the Green and supports a Cricket and Football team as well as a Bowls Club.

The Bowls club has been in the village for a number of years and members are currently racking their brains to find out more of its history. To date the earliest formal records of committee and member gatherings are from 1972. However, there are villagers who can recall there being a club in the village many years before this period. From 1972 to 1991, the club played its home games at the Lord Nelson public house. In 1991, Bradenham Hall Estate gave the club an area of ground to build a permanent and purpose built Green and for the last 25 years, villages have been able to benefit from this facility. The club has sponsorship from "George Tufts and Sons" the local builders merchant and "W.C. Littleproud & Son", an independent family run funeral business.

The club is very much part of village life and welcomes members from not only Bradenham but also other local villages. We are always looking out for new members so if you are interested please do not hesitate to make contact. A very friendly welcome awaits you, especially on Sunday afternoons when ‘roll ups’ occur. For those who are more competitive there is a full fixture list of evening and afternoon matches.

Anyone wishing to visit the club will find us on Hale Road IP25 7RA in Bradenham adjacent to the Football Club.

Using the "What Three Words App", the location is: ///worms.attracts.areas.

Bradenham Bowls Club is looking forward to meeting you and enjoying a summer of excellent bowling.
