Christmas is coming.

At the end of October the Club held its first winter activity, a Quiz. Twenty members formed four teams and competition rivalry was evident from the first round. Many thanks must go to Ted whose loud response to one question provided everyone with the answer which was correct! Phil Hayward was responsible for selecting all the questions, acting as quiz master and providing the superb filling for the jacket potatoes. Once again grateful thanks to the Hilliers for providing and cooking the potatoes.

Prior warning to everyone, Christmas Bingo will be held in the Village Hall on Friday December 2nd with a 7 for 7.30pm start. This has always been a highlight of the Club’s year and extremely well attended by members and friends alike. So please put the date in your diaries and there will be no excuse not to attend.

This month’s get together is the Christmas Dinner on December 16th at the “Billy” in Shipdham. Thank you all for the continued support the Club receives from its members and friends.
