Message from Bradenham Bowls Club

At the time of reading this report the Club would have completed its first month of competition. Fourteen matches have taken place and as usual the results have been mixed, some wins, some losses and even a draw which is a rarity in bowls. Nevertheless, all matches have been played in good spirits and a lot of laughs, especially when some wayward shots are bowled. Despite, members playing regular weekly matches the Sunday afternoon (2pm) roll ups are proving most popular with between ten and twenty players participating. It is also encouraging seeing those who, for whatever reason, not bowling in matches taking part as a means of staying in touch or simply exercising! Please do come along on a Sunday as you will be made most welcome, even if you just want to have a chat and a cup of tea.

Finally, the Club is looking forward to June and another round of sixteen matches which all concerned are hoping for favourable outcomes.
