February Social Activities

The club organised two events in January, a Coffee Morning and a lunch. Both events have been well attended especially the Soup Lunch followed by a game of ‘HOY’. Twenty-five members and friends attended the lunch with two coming from Stanwell. Two types of soup were served, chicken and vegetable along with bread and some delightful cakes. Many thanks must go to Greta Parry for making the soup. Prizes were allocated to the winners of the individual games of HOY. Overall, another fantastic event run by the Club to ensure members and friends can meet during the very wet and wintery conditions of the last few weeks.

To that end further events will take place during February to include another Coffee Morning on Thursday the 8th between 10am and 12. Then on Wednesday 21 there will be £3.50 lunch with a competition to ‘Pitch-ure your wits’!.

The Club extends a warm welcome to all who wish to come to these events. Further events are planned for March as well.
