Spring Ahead

Since last writing the Club has held two social events. Firstly, a quiz served with a hot dog lunch and secondly, a Beetle Drive again with lunch this time provided by members bringing their own plate for everyone to share. Over twenty folks attended both events and again a fun time was had by all. A special gratitude of thanks must go to all who made the events possible by either cooking, organising the quiz or supplying the raffle.

Despite the incessant rain the Green is looking in splendid shape for the upcoming season. It has been cut twice with vast amounts of growth being removed. Let’s now hope for some drying weather over the coming months as we approach the start of the new season in April. Further details will appear over the coming weeks.

Once again, many thanks to the committee for all their hard work over the winter in keeping everyone meeting up. Talking of which the final winter get together will be on Friday March 20th at 12.30 in the Clubhouse. The theme is a Mystery Voice quiz with lunch for £3.50. Look forward to seeing you there.

Future dates for your diary, Thursday April 2nd. 7.00 for 7.30pm Pre-Season meeting. Thursday April 9th. at 10.0am is Tidy Up day and Sunday April 12th. is Open Afternoon, starting at 2.00pm.
