What a strange season this has been? Matches during the summer are usually postponed due to inclement weather. However, this year it has been extreme heat, whoever would have thought that of a British summer! The Green remains one of the few places in the village appearing still to be “green” and thanks must go to the Greenkeeper in ensuring a surface that is not only playable but lightening quick. Taking all of that into consideration July has been a good month with more wins than losses. Another casualty of the weather was the mid-season Fun Day but it will not be long to wait for the end of season Fun Day in September.

The Club is still awaiting final confirmation but is looking forward to hosting a touring side from Hedge End in Hampshire on August 26th. at 2pm.
